Heritage Park, a historical development of new homes in Birkenhead

Heritage Park is a development of 39 town houses and apartments near Birkenhead and have implemented the Property Log Book® (PLB) with their homes.  Each home coming with its own unique PLB of property and development information.  Due to the sensitive historical nature of the site, its importance to the local community and its close proximity to the park, the developers recognised the need to work closely with the local authority and other interested parties to protect its integrity, while maximising its potential and preserving its unique heritage for future generations.

Stage one will see the sympathetic conversion of the existing and original Victorian houses into eleven spacious and well appointed 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 3 bedroom penthouses.

This site has links to the Everest mountaineer Andrew ‘Sandy’ Irvine  as 56 Park Road South was the family home of Sandy’s who took part in the 1924 British Everest Expedition aged just 22. While attempting the final ascent, he and his climbing partner, George Mallory disappeared on the mountain’s northeast ridge, just a few hundred metres from the summit.
