Case Study: GBAS


Gateway to Birmingham Advice Services (GBAS) is a project funded by the Big Lottery Fund. It is fifteen organisations working in partnership to improve access to advice for the people of Birmingham.

GBAS comprises fifteen partners covering a broad spectrum of advice and welfare service providers. It is developing a new advice model which will ensure that clients take the shortest route to access the right advice from the most appropriate provider.

The Gateway to Birmingham Advice Service project has won the national Citizen’s Advice “Access for All”¬†award.
